The Three Little Teachers

The wonderful thing about having a family, is how much they teach you about yourself and the world you thought you were living in.
As anybody who has a child, pet they treat like a child or a husband who acts like a child knows: It's sometimes the littlest things that make the biggest impact.
The thing that I can not get out of my head today, is how they totally, completely and undeniably think that YOU can fix anything. From the perfect PB&J (you have no idea ow many of those we go through in a week) to fabric on a chair that is unraveling to a broken banana. If anyone knows how to fix the banana without using a toothpick- PLEASE let me know!
It's just amazing that as we go along we are always wondering if we can do something or if we are smart enough, thin enough, fast enough, good enough. Our children always think that we hung the Moon and that there is nothing that we cannot do.
I promise Pauley, that one day Mama will get around to fixing Great-Grandma Grace's Orange chair- I never want you to think that there is anything that I cannot do.
Thank you for teaching me how wonderful I am.
Join on the next little hop down the path~
